Ingredients:
- 4 cups frozen corn kernels
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced cooked bacon
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions:
Corn, onion, garlic, chicken broth, potatoes, carrots, celery, bacon, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper should all be put in a slow cooker
Put the lid on top and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours
Half-and-half and cornstarch should be mixed together in a small bowl until the mixture is smooth
Add to the slow cooker in a stir
Put the lid on top and cook on high for another 30 minutes, or until the sauce gets thicker
